ABOUT ME

I am currently doing my Molecular Genetics Pathology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. I recently completed my Anatomic Pathology residency at the University of Minnesota. Previously, I did my PhD at the University of Rochester, NY, and my post-doctoral studies at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN.

I hold an unrestricted medical license from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and a temporary Physician-in-training permit for Texas Medical Board.

My interest lies in novel assay development to address relevant gaps in clinical practice, as well as to understand fundamental question in molecular carcinogenesis. I am very well versed with multiple molecular diagnostic assay platforms like NGS, RT-PCR, dd- PCR and DNA microarray through my research and clinical experience. Additionally, I have keen interest in digital image analysis algorithm development as well as patient-derived microphysiological models for pre-clinical drug development and clinical trials.
